Senior PHP developer

Introduction: 
For 15 years now, our client strives to deliver one of the best solutions around the EPD. It's a SaaS product that is highly secure and used by roughly 170.000 healthcare professionals through out the Netherlands. 

Role:

As senior PHP Backend Developer , you work together in a Scrum team with other developers, testers, a product owner, and also closely together with UX-designers, data analysts, dev-ops and customer services. Actually, all our departments! You are playing an important role in the whole organisation.

Your daily activities include:

• Together with the team, decide the Scrum backlog, critically assessing the requirements and convert them into user stories;
• Create technical designs with your great architectural skills;
• Implement the user stories based on the technical designs you've made;
• Write code, implement, test and release;
• Reviewing code by your colleagues, and think along with the strategy and future vision of the development discipline.

To realise this you’re using:

• PHP 7
• Symfony framework
• Doctrine ORM
• MariaDB
• Microservices
• Couchbase
• RabbitMQ
• Docker
• Rest-like API’s
• PlantUML/draw.io

When doing this, you’re contributing to:

• An Electronic Client File that connects to the process of working used by healthcare professionals;
• Healthcare professionals who can report and identify;
• A patient who has access to his or her data;
• Correct financial declaration flows;
